Refund Policy

Effective Date: October 4th, 2025

At Busam Construction, we work hard to provide quality construction and contracting services. This Refund Policy explains how deposits and payments are handled in the event of cancellations, changes, or disputes. By hiring us, you agree to the following terms:

1. Deposits

  • A deposit is required before work begins, as outlined in your written estimate or contract.

  • Deposits are generally non-refundable, as they cover scheduling, planning, and initial materials.

  • In the event we cannot begin your project for reasons under our control, your deposit may be refunded in full.

2. Cancellations by the Customer

  • If you cancel before work has begun, we may refund part of your deposit at our discretion, minus any costs already incurred (materials ordered, labor scheduled, etc.).

  • If you cancel after work has started, no refunds will be provided for labor already performed or materials purchased.

3. Cancellations by the Contractor

  • If we must cancel a project due to unforeseen circumstances, we will refund your deposit and any unused portion of payments received.

4. Completed Work

  • Payments for completed work are non-refundable.

  • If you believe work was performed incorrectly or not to agreed specifications, we will review the concern and, if necessary, make corrections in line with your contract.

5. Custom Orders & Materials

  • Special order or custom materials purchased for your project are non-refundable once ordered from our suppliers.

6. Disputes

  • We strive to resolve all issues directly with our customers.

  • Any disputes regarding payments or refunds will be handled according to the governing laws of the State of Indiana.
